ABDULLAH IBN MOHAMMED FUBI
He was a great Muslim leader that carried out his Islamic activities in the area known today as the northern part of Nigeria around the 19th century. He was the younger brother of Uthman dan Fodio( a Fulani Jihadist that established the Sokoto Caliphate in parts of what is known today as Nigeria)
He was a practical contributor to the activities of his brother towards the establishment of Sokoto Caliphate. For this reason, his brother made him the ruler of a large portion of the Caliphate. He established his capital of the part he controlled at Gwandu.
He was as well a good administrator, scholar, a poet and a great warrior.
